A bit about me:: Very interested in local and homegrown food, for lots of reasons. Have an expanded vegetable garden this year and am excited to try some new things. Spend lots of time in the garden, hiking in sierras, working my jiu jitsu, going to beach, working, talking with my college kids, and more. Organizing my neighborhood to try neighborhood garden exchanges.

Latest greatest meal cooked at home:: seared scallops over fennel risotto (fennel and onions from garden) with a side of bulls blood beets picked 5 minutes before they hit the water.

May I suggest that you also create an OC HOMEGROWNers group so folks can join a region-specific group for like-minded folks? Other cities have done it and it works out quite well.
I lived in Laguna Beach for about seven years and WISH there had been a meetup for HOMEGROWNers then. Good luck and happy growing!
