Retired from over 25 years in construction.. We have moved back to Ohio after living in NC for ten years.
We live on a little over an acre and I plan to convert it to an urban mini farm.
The design set up is fruit trees and a 24' x 4' butterfly garden ( plan on getting it certified in 2018), rain barrels on all (6) downspouts, lower back yard to have raised beds, a dye garden, a rain garden along with a 20' x 10' greenhouse. The upper level is approx. 100' x 130' - room for some chickens, pygmy goats, and at least one high tunnel. To the left are trees that need weeded out and the dead down trees need chopped up. To the right is the start of a wind break line of trees which also absorb plenty of water ( white pine, river birch, wheeping willow and a red maple thrown in)
