Celebrate the culture of agriculture & share skills (Growing! Cooking! Eating!)

in all of my (3) years of gardening i've never been able to enjoy the fruits (quite literally) of my labors.
in regards to watermelon.
i've always been on the move... so some lucky duck got to inherit my fresh beautiful watermelons.

it was looking like the seeds i planted this year weren't going to sprout (i didn't sprout them inside then move them out. just planted 'em right in the ground)

they've arrived!

Whoo hoo! I started seeds indoors and only got one, so I've planted another five in my plot and I'm hoping for the best. What kind are you growing? I've got Ali Babas :)
