Celebrate the culture of agriculture & share skills (Growing! Cooking! Eating!)

Vermont is a New England oasis, offering beautiful scenic views of its Green Mountains and expansive forest lands. Visitors can come to ski, hike, learn about the state's Native American history, shop for antiques, or more. A Vermont vacation offers a serene getaway that helps you get back to nature and feel restored.

However, you shouldn't leave without sampling some of the local goods for which Vermont is known. Here are three things that you MUST get before leaving Vermont:

Maple Syrup

Vermont is the leading producer of maple syrup in the United States, and it has a reputation for excellence. Make sure you get a bottle of this liquid gold before you leave -- the imitations you get at home just won't be the same.

THE best apple cider I have ever put in my mouth! Maybe it's the combination of the scenery and majesty of the views, but I could drink my weight in the homegrown apples cider from Vermont. I took a ton home, and it is STILL amazing (but being there makes a little difference!)

Green Mountain Coffee

This company based in Waterbury, Vermont. roasts 100% Arabica coffees. The company offers over 100 different selections of coffee, so you will be sure to find one that you love. While Green Mountain Coffee sells their brews around the country, there's nothing like buying it right from the source. You won't be able to beat the freshness!
