Celebrate the culture of agriculture & share skills (Growing! Cooking! Eating!)

I started my first round of seeds today! Last fall was my first attempt at starting from seeds, and this is now my first spring.

My first round includes tomatoes, broccoli, cucumbers, bell peppers, eggplants and tobacco (why not? Although being careful to not pull a Homer and make tomacco).

I started all these in one of those mini greenhouse starters. Anybody use these before? Also going to direct sow some carrot seeds later today and start cilantro and dill in some pots.

Yep, can't start anything here for a month or so either!

Yes, I use mini greenhouses, a seedling heat mat and a full spectrum grow light to get mine going. I got my mini greenhouse last night. I only start a few things from seed, as I have a reputable local nursery I buy my tomato and pepper plants from (that will change when we get a larger parcel of land and then I'll do them myself).
