Well friends it is time to think about raising pigs again. If you are interesed in pastured pork from the barry farm please let us know as soon as possible. We are buying a boar and a gilt from Nonesuch Farm but they are not for eating. However we have made contact with another family farm near Shiner who does have some barrows ( neutered males) available but they go very fast. They are holding onto some for us for now but it is not fair to hold them up. Email us at thebarryfarm@yahoo.com, Message us on Facebook or conctact us here with questions and if you are interested. Like everything we do at the barry farm they will be out on grass 24/7, raised by our family (Renee, layla and seamus too), butchered humanely and locally. We do not use antibiotics or hormones ( frankly we dont need to). Vote with your food dollars and buy from houston family farmers raising gourmet pork on pasture....the way it should be.

Here is a few pictures of the last pigs we raised this spring and summer.
