Hi, Lisa. Welcome to HOMEGROWN! My name is Jennifer, and I'm the flock tender here (site updater and tweaker, feeder and waterer of content). I’m so glad you found us from so far away! I lived in France for a few months several years ago and absolutely fell in love. I bet the rest of the HOMEGROWN community would love to hear about your life there; if you’re game, please don’t be shy about posting stories and photos in The Stew, our member blog. You can always find the latest additions to the site at the very top of the homepage, and if you ever have questions, please don't hesitate to leave a comment on my profile page or shoot me a message. I hope you feel right at home!
Yay! So glad you're enjoying HOMEGROWN—and so glad to have you here!
Hi, Lisa! I just tweeted a link to your chicken question, so here's hoping we get more eyes (belonging to experienced chicken keepers, which I am not) on your post. I'll keep you updated on what I hear from the twitterverse, and, in the meantime, you might want to post this same question in the Backyard Chickens group, just in case the chicken experts see it there first. We'll get this solved! A girl needs her eggs!
Jennifer
