I am in my seventh decade of continuing education. My earliest experiences were on my families' farms. I saw the frothing milk stream from between my grandma's fingers and learned the difference between carrot tops and beet tops in grandpa's garden. Lessons that last forever.

Hi, Joyce. Welcome to HOMEGROWN! My name is Jennifer, and I'm the flock tender here (site updater and tweaker, feeder and waterer of content). First things first: I hope you're fully recovered from your surgery soon! But in the meantime, it’s A-OK to milk a few husband-prepared meals. And if you’ve got some strictly enforced couch time these next few weeks while you're on the mend, I hope you’ll consider posting more memories and wisdom gleaned from your seven decades of continuing farm education in our member blog, The Stew. Sounds like you’ve got plenty to teach the rest of the HOMEGROWN herd. Here on the site, you can always find the latest additions at the very top of the homepage, and if you’ve ever got questions, please don't hesitate to leave a comment on my profile page or shoot me a message. I’m so glad you found us and hope you feel right at home!
