Profile Information

A bit about me:
Married, 3 children, 1/2 acre semi-rural, work full time in our own business, volunteer 10-20 h per week. Grow vegetables and fruit, no animals. We are vegetarian. Hobbies are cooking, canning, creating recipes, reading, and (now that the children are older and I have more time) watching TV. (Which is why I recommended the following website...because it can be watched on laptop at kitchen table while cooking etc.)
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
Easter dinner...yesterday. Spanakopita, cherry pie, banana cream pie, 4 bean salad, potatoes and gravy, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, relish tray and dip, rolls, eggs, green beans and beets.
Currently reading:
Variety of cookbooks and mysteries and books recommended by NPR.
Currently listening to:
Oldies at work, NPR in the car, my children CDs at home.
My latest DIY project:
Daughter's upcoming wedding.
