A bit about me:

I've always been a tree-hugger [and climber]. I'd prefer the quiet, living off the land kind of life, however, I live in the city and have three year old twin boys. I do what I can to stay homegrown and down-to-earth. There is a limit of THREE hens that one can have in the city. That is a future project!

Latest greatest meal cooked at home:

Fourth of July; salmon, potato salad, three bean salad, and a new recipe I found online, a salad with broccoli, cauliflower, and other wonderful veggies. delicious!!!

as much silence as I can get away with!

My latest DIY project:

completed painting the shed my father-in-law built in the backyard; may incorporate three hen boxes literally IN the west facing wall, and built the coop outward from there?
