A bit about me:: Love gardening, organically of course. I bird hunt, enjoy my WPG dog, woodworking, needlecrafts, prepping our property for future living, researching orchard trees, genealogy, home, family and hearth.

Latest greatest meal cooked at home:: Confetti Vegetables and Veal Piccata.

Currently reading:: Common Sense by Thomas Paine

Currently listening to:: The hum of my computer, as usual.

My latest DIY project:: Been canning all summer and getting ready for fall canning as well as a litter of bird-dog puppies, quilting my grand-daughter's baby quilt, planting my fall crops, and trying to figure out how to use these old windows to build cold frames.

And I’d love to see photos of your windows repurposed as cold frames! We love to spread good ideas across HOMEGROWN.org!
