Hi, Trish. Welcome to HOMEGROWN! My name is Jennifer, and I'm the flock tender here (site updater and tweaker, feeder and waterer of content). I’m so glad you found us—and via the Farm Aid concert, no less! Now that I'm caught up on my sleep, I’m ready to do the whole thing over again! So, first things first: My definition of “cube farmer” is someone who’s stuck in an office cubicle but has dreams of getting his/her hands in the dirt. Since you’re a newish gardener, it sounds like you’re well beyond that step! Actually, if you haven’t come across them already, we’ve got a couple of groups of HOMEGROWN members that are dedicated to growing in your area. There’s South Florida Sub/Urban Agriculture and Miami, FL Friendly Farming. Elsewhere on HOMEGROWN, you can always find the latest additions to the site at the top of the homepage, and if you’ve ever got questions, please don't hesitate to leave a comment on my profile page or shoot me a message. I hope you feel right at home!
