Prayer Warrior Chain For The People Of Boston

What kind of HOMEGROWN are you?
100% Homegrown
A bit about me:
My wife and I are currently trying to establish a 4 acre homestead. We have chickens, rabbits, pigs, ducks, and soon to be sheep and goats. We also are working on a berry patch with blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and hopefully strawberries. We also plan to have a quite large garden plot in the spring. We offer a documented journey of our quest to become self sufficient in the next two years complete with businesses you can operate from your own home. All the information we put together is completely FREE!! No strings attached. Our goal here at Stinnett Family Farms is to first and foremost help as many people as we can become self sufficient and take care of ourselves. You never know what the future holds. We don't ask for anything in return except maybe your friendship and ideas about what we are doing and let us know what you are doing we love to hear stories from fellow homesteaders!!
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
Fried pork chops, fresh purple hull peas, soft fried potatoes, and hot water cornbread. mmm mmm mmm makes me hungry right now!! lol
Currently reading:
Not mush time for reading gotta WRITE WRITE WRITE!!!
Currently listening to:

My latest DIY project:
I am in the beginning stages of construction of the first of several greenhouses on the property.

We just finished construction of the first of at least 3 16 foot sections of our rabbit barn. You can check out how we did it on our site or follow along on my blog on homegrown as well.

Travis: You're very welcome. Thanks for being here!

Hi, Travis. Welcome to HOMEGROWN and apologies for the belated greeting! My name is Jennifer, and I'm the flock tender here (site updater and tweaker, feeder and waterer of content), and I’ve been on holiday vacation for the last week or so (hence the slow hello).

I’m so glad you found us—and congrats on getting your homestead underway! Thanks, too, for sharing the link to your blog. I loved reading through it. In the future, please don’t be shy about reposting in our member blog, The Stew—with a link back to your original blog post, of course! That way, we can help promote it via Twitter and Facebook and by excerpting bits for the Daily Bite at the very top of the homepage. We love to spread the love!

Elswehere on HOMEGROWN, you can always find the latest additions to the site at the top of the homepage, and if you’ve ever got questions, please don't hesitate to leave a comment on my profile page or shoot me a message. I hope you feel right at home!
