Earth Mama, Dirt Under My Fingernails City Slicker
A bit about me:
Started with a 4'x6' plot in the yard 7 yrs ago. Over the years we've expanded down the fences and into the front yard. 3 yrs ago we started our first egg layers, then our first meat birds the next summer. By last year we had (nearly) mastered canning and dehydrating produce and tried our hand at canning our own salmon. This spring, we launched Oly Organics... 100% pasture raised, humane, heritage poultry.
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
Pot Luck BBQ with friends :)
fresh grilled chicken, veggie kebab's, grilled salmon, broccoli salad... excellent friends and cold beer!
I saw a question about why eggs are flat on one or two sides occasionally and also how to deal with the bugs and flies attracted to chicken poop. I'm always curious as to what you have to say about any issue.
