Last O' the Blackberries.

Well, this summer I've had to work a lot. I didn't find time this spring to plant a garden, like I did last year. The thing of it is, I partly didn't do it because my work never allowed me time to eat what grew, last year. So pretty much everything rotted on the vine. Which made me sad. Lemon Marmalade

Here's what I did today:Lemon Marmalade2 Cups thinly sliced lemons with peel6 cups water4 1/2 cups sugar*Combine lemon slices and water in large preserving kettle. Cook rpidly until tender, bout 20 mins. Stir occasionally.*Drain and measure liquid; add enough water to make six cups. Add with sugar to lemons, mixing we3ll.
