Love and believe in Urban Gardening. I want to learn more and will be looking to participate in an Urban Garden both as a community service, educational endeavor and of course for food.
Last year helped create a community farm market in a neighborhood - working now to begin our second season beginning June 2009.

haha.... hey Sallie,
Ya ive been pretty busy too. Archeworks just had an annual party-benefit, it was lots of fun. I was going to send out an invite to you, I thought there was a chance you might loosely know some of the people there but tickets were 45$ and I imagined you'd be busy. Anyways..... you have anytime this sunday to meet up?
if not totally cool, itll happen at some point....ha.
My name is Adam. I just moved to Chicago from San Diego. I actually took some classes with Anna O'Cain who gave me your name. I moved out here to do a year with Archeworks..(not sure if you have heard of it) its a alternative design school that does a variety of projects focused on social and environmental issues. Coincidentally, this year my sub group is focusing on urban agriculture. I was wondering if sometime down the road when we have little more direction with what we are trying to accomplish if I could maybe meet up for a cup of coffee with you, or just talk to you about what were doing (seeing that your involved in the urban garden scene, I could see you being able to offer some valuable advice)
thanks a lot,
