my husband and I have 12 acres and 5 children. we live off the land in every way we can. we heat with wood, have gardens, hunt, fish, and harvest from the forest that surrounds us. we started out doing this because money was tight and then fell in love with it! I couldn't imagine a better way of life.
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
Fish fry with the fish we caught earlier in the day, green beans and zuccini from the garden, harvested wild rice, and wild berries for dessert.
Currently reading:
not much time for reading, but enjoy reading about local history.
