A place for those of us who are just dipping our toes into Homegrown living. Maybe we're looking to change how we buy our food, what we buy...Maybe we've started our first garden and have questions. If you're green, this is the place for you!
"I'm really excited to try this starter. I've worked with a few starter cultures, but I sometimes have trouble keeping them qlive after dividing and feeding them for awhile. Is this a single-use starter, or can it be propogated?"
I'm a beginning urban gardener in a wheelchair, learning and figuring things out as I roll along. Using windowbox herb gardens, dwarf fruit trees in permanent pots, community garden plots, CSAs, farmers' markets, farm stands , co-ops - if I can't cultivate an actual garden, I want to cultivate community in which I can live a homegrown lifestyle.
