Hi, Reb. Welcome to HOMEGROWN! My name is Jennifer, and I'm the flock tender here (site updater and tweaker, feeder and waterer of content), and I’m a native Houstonian, right down the road from you—although I now live in Massachusetts, which makes me especially jealous of Texas’s long growing season. I think my mom is still getting tomatoes! Here on HOMEGROWN, you can always find the latest additions to the site at the top of the homepage, and if you’ve ever got questions, please don't hesitate to leave a comment on my profile page or shoot me a message. I hope you feel right at home!

I just plucked the last of my poblanos last week, but hot peppers: Yum. My neighbor made some chili last night (not Texas style; it had beans! The sacrilege!) and dropped a couple of hot peppers in. It was firy but so delicious on a rainy night. So glad you're here and are excited about learning from others. We want to learn from you, too!
