Fill in the blank:
Food obsessed soul
A bit about me:
I teach traditional cookery (mostly Mediterranean cuisines), write a little, edit, translate, and restore traditional recipes, speak and do a little food activism. I try to garden for the year, practice nose-to-tail cookery, and avoid grocery stores as much as possible. Love cooking in terracotta!
Occasionally blogging at GimmeRealFood.blogspot.com
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
Homemade boudin noir with eggs fresh from the ladies! Stracotto (as soon as I find a sheep).
Currently reading:
De Re Coquinaria and Sir Albert Howard's An Agricultural Testament
Currently listening to:
Fela Kuti, Tito Puente
My latest DIY project:
Designed and built 2 hoop houses, working on the ultimate broadfork.
