A bit about me:

I'm a chicken raising, mini orchard growing, love the dirt in my hands, canning, cooking, painting kind of gal. I hate to toss the word "prepper" around, I like to think of it as being self-sufficient. My middle son is convinced we will see a zombie apocalypse, so he's all about learning to live off the land!

Latest greatest meal cooked at home:

Easter dinner: 10-lb beef brisket smoked over hickory for 12 hours, candied sweet potatoes, slow cooked baked beans, fresh cantaloupe, garlic smashed redskins, hot bakery bread, and pie!
