Oprah in coop
I moved Oprah to the coop last night. We'll see how she does. I need to get her some friends to play with, I think she's a bit lonely.

"The sole survivor - OPRAH! I started with five, and due to overheating issues (which have now been addressed) I am down to one. I am putting her out in the coop this week and will be getting a few more pullets to start in the brooder…"

"Up to now, I have added one more row of pallets (used solely to take up space and raise the level a bit) and lined the inside with landscape fabric; now all that's left is to fill with my soil/compost mixture and plant"

- I grew up in New Orleans, but I currently live in Austin, TX. I love the organic, gardening, and horticulture communities here. I am turning from my evil consumerist ways and trying to plant, cultivate, and grow.
