Hi, Mike. Welcome to HOMEGROWN. My name is Jennifer, and I'm the flock tender here: site updater and tweaker, feeder and waterer of content. I’m so glad you found us! And from China! I hope you’ll find plenty of projects and ideas here to spur you on, and I hope you’ll be game for sharing some of your own, too—I’m pretty sure folks around here would be awfully interested in hearing about and seeing photos of anything HOMEGROWN you encounter during your sejour in China—in our member blog, The Stew. And I bet I’m not the only one who’s curious about those sourdough pancakes. Elsewhere on HOMEGROWN, you can always find the latest additions to the site at the top of the homepage, and if you’ve ever got questions, please don't hesitate to leave a comment on my profile page or shoot me a message. I hope you feel right at home!

Hi, Mike: Thank you for your note. I have to say, though, it only whet my appetite to hear even more about how you and your family are finding your way, food-wise, during your adventure. Sounds like a fair amount of ingenuity is involved. And I think your wife may have just joined the site, too, which is lovely! Really nice to have you guys around. You might even find some other folks here with helpful overseas experience. Is it OK to ask what took you to China in the first place?
