I have only been brewing "milk" kefir for about two months now with grains from two different sources. So far I have had great success and we make about a quart of fresh milk kefir every day.

- I am a healthy, very active, try-to-be-as-much-as-possible homegrown. I regularly shop at two famer's markets and try to buy as much hoegrown products as possible, especially produce. I want to start making my own kefir and am trying to find kefir grains for free from another kefir maker or directions on how to grow my own grains. Anybody out there?
- Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
- Not cooked, but prepared fresh. Chopped romaine lettuce, diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, crumbled vegetarian bacon, crumbled blue cheese, homemade croutons & light blue cheese dressing. Toss all ingredients and enjoy.
