Fill in the blank:: we are dabbler homesteaders.

A bit about me:: I am a mom of 8, wife to my high school friend. We have 7 grand kids-so far. We homeschooled all our kids. I craft for a store, just for fun and for my family. We own 11 acres in NE WA. We currently raise kids, grand kids, pygmy goats, a flock of chickens and 3 Muscovy ducks. My newest obsession is blue and lavender orpingtons.

Latest greatest meal cooked at home:: Spaghetti with garlic gravy topped with raw zuchini slivers and fresh tomatoes, homemade bread and a fresh cucumber salad served with lemon water---of course you must finish with a huge rootbeer float for dessert!

Currently reading:: info on ducks and my Bible

Currently listening to:: Adventures in Odyssey and Anne of Green Gables

My latest DIY project:: polishing my chicken coop and many crochet items and figuring out how to house my ducks.
