What kind of HOMEGROWN are you?
Dirt Under My Fingernails City Slicker
A bit about me:
I live with my love on .25 arces in a SoCal suburb. We have fantasies of a "real" farm one day. For now we have 400+ sq. ft. of garden beds, nearly 40 food-bearing trees, chickens, ducks, bees, cats, a dog, and a lot of ideas! We've jumped in the deep end and are learning as we go; some lessons are harder than others.
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
Fish tacos.
Currently reading:
Deep Economy by Bill McKibben
Currently listening to:
Farm Aid 25
My latest DIY project:
Building vertical supports for the garden beds.
So to start on the poultry enclosure, version 2.0.

Hi Lily - wow! It sounds like you've got an ideal 1/4-acre homestead! There are great folks here that can inspire you, as well as answer questions you may have about things. But, of course, the best way to learn is often just to dive in! Welcome to HOMEGROWN.
