I am a senior - chef/owner of an organic to go deli in Pittsburgh, PA 2002-=2007. Moved to Granville, I cater, teach home cooking, give healthy living seminars, grow some of my own food, have been the Granville Farmers Market Chef for the past 2 years.
.I cook many great meals at home..for my catering jobs... Yesterday I cooked for the market: Butternut Squash Soup with curry, ginger, coconut milk; Indian Summer Succotash (vegan); and Spicy Rice and Black Beans. I give it all away at my tasting table for a $1 donation. It's fun!
Hi, Kitty. Welcome to HOMEGROWN! My name is Jennifer, and I'm the flock tender here (site updater and tweaker, feeder and waterer of content). I’m so glad you found us—and I love the idea of giving away samples at the farmers market for a wee (bite-size, even) donation! If you’re up for sharing photos of your culinary creations, don’t be shy! That’s what our member blog, The Stew, is for. Elsewhere on HOMEGROWN, you can always find the latest additions to the site at the very top of the homepage, and if you’ve ever got questions, don't hesitate to leave a comment on my profile page or shoot me a message. I hope you feel right at home!
