"Raw milk and cream? Geez, around these parts, you and your source would be rounded up as dangerous criminals. Heaven forbid any raw milk should get off the farm. I think we had a guy up here (Ontario) who formed a cooperative to supply raw milk to…"
"I should think prevailing wind direction would be just as important. We put up a couple of those retractable 4-line things inside the house too for really cold days or rain days -- or even for things we'd prefer not to have the birds dive bomb.…"
"Cornelia, what other country has better, purer, more efficient food growth than than the USA? Why should we cede more control to a government that is obviously trying to move our economy toward a more socialist approach thru more government…"

My husband and I moved out to a farm three years ago with our four dogs and cat. We love it!
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
We started getting zucchini and looks like we're going to get a lot, so we're trying out new recipes. Yesterday we made crab-stuffed zucchini boats with cheese broiled on top. We're also eating lots of salads with lettuce and beet greens from our garden, and homemade croûtons from homemade bread.

My latest DIY project:
Learned to make homemade lemonade and tortillas. Tortillas are great - make up a couple dozen and stick them in the freezer. Great to pull out for quick wraps, quesadillas, CanMex bean burritos (made with maple baked beans instead of refried), fajitas, etc.
