Tonight- leftovers from a neighbor's free-range chicken (part payment for labor), mixed into sauteed home-grown greens, our onions, some chanterelles I found in the woods yesterday, fresh-dug spuds (ours) and chicken gravy (imported salt & pepper, regionally local organic milk & butter)

I'm cleaning seed to grow Mountain ash (Sorbus spp) for a small USFS revegetation project (along with Pacific yew, huckleberries, a few other species)
