Grew up on a farm many years ago, always yearned to return
A bit about me:
I grew up on a small Illinois farm back in the 60s and have always yearned to return to the rural life. These days I am trying to live by Christian agrarian principles as far as possible- worshipping at a small, traditional, local church, realizing the importance of home & family, community & localism, striving to be a good steward, simplifying my life as much as possible, etc.
I am a Christian (Reformed Presbyterian) interested in the Bible, Calvinism, traditionalism/paleoconservatism, agrarianism, distributism, localism, theology, apologetics, philosophy, history, science, steampunk, alternative history fiction, fantasy fiction, and mysteries.
I belong to the RPCNA, a traditional Reformed denomination. I think of myself as a traditionalist rather than a conservative because I don’t see much worth conserving these days, and I’d rather not be associated with what passes for “conservatism” these days.
