"Simply a marvel of good will and efforts. I think I will have to come by your way when I visit mom this year in FL. I generally come for two - three weeks. If you'd like, I'll head on over to Pensacola way to visit. I'm intrigued and…"
"As the doctrine goes. Put a tablespoon of lemon juice per pint of tomatoes and two tabl. per quart. That makes them "safe" for boiling water canning. It is not necessary for pressure canning. The doctrine suggest "real lemon"…"
"I have had great success with water bath canning, but it is pressure canning that has been a big disappointment. I cannot seem to adjust my gas burners to the correct BTU in order to get a constant rate of pressure. If I turn or look away…"
"Buddy, I contacted the fellow from the N.Y. Times about you and copied you on the message. Should he be interested you can follow up on your own. I'm out of it but I am so impressed with this model that I think it should be A)…"
"The New York Times should do a piece about you and the Can Can Club. In fact, I know a guy........maybe I'll write him. Really, this is a great model. So equitable and reasoned.

"Yes, I have. And you do them the way you do other stone fruit or fruit in general. Do you have a book on dehydrating foods? Each fruit suggests a little different time and slightly different temperature but in general it is the same…"
"Lynda, you told me where you farm by I forgot. As for tomatoes, here in Oregon (or at least in Portland) we will have to wait a while before anything turns red. But we're hoping. I do believe I saw a little blush on one of my…"
Hi Harriet! We're here in your fine city and LOVING the sunshine!! We'll see you in Puyallup, but I wanted to make sure it's OK to give away a copy of your DVD as part of my Portland road trip blog post. Thanks!
Harriet, I just started you book and am loving it! Having lived in Portland and Austin, I got a chuckle out of your suggestion to move somewhere less desirable in order to live more frugally. I guess that's how we ended up in Albuquerque. Well, cost of living and the beauty. I'm looking forward to finishing your book and best of luck with all of your classes this season. Warmly, Amy
