Profile Information

What kind of HOMEGROWN are you?
100% Homegrown
A bit about me:
Baker for farmers markets; food preserver; raised-bed organic gardener; sewing and quilting enthusiast (when I have time); tireless promoter of local foods. I live in rural Parker near Fort Worth but can't wait to move to our property in Alpine and build an Earthship.
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
Grilled local chicken with my own spice rub and farmers market vegetables.
Currently reading:
Wendell Berry
Currently listening to:
Whatever's playing on KRTS, Marfa Public Radio, via the web.
My latest DIY project:
Bread and butter pickles. My husband is building solar panels as part of his training to become a certified PV installer.
