Retired to husband's ancestral village when I was 50 with 5 year old son. Bult house, grow garden, have chickens. Love good food, gardening, to knit, read and write. And take online courses. My big thrill is heading into Rome for the day for a bit of "civilization" a couple of times a month (I am, after all, originally from NY!).
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
Gnocchi (every Thursday)? We eat our big meal together everyday at lunchtime...always some kind of pasta, with a protein (meat, cheese or beans) and several vegetables (from the garden most often). It's all yummy!
