Soaring Acorn
A bit about me:
I'm a recent college graduate, and in my search for things that make me smile and keep me sane, I found plants, and then I found food, and the rest is history.
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
Fritatta with eggs fresh from our chickens, and veggies from our garden - summer squash, tomatoes, chard, and green onions. So good!
Currently reading:
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance
Currently listening to:
Sweet Mickey, a Haitian Kompa artist. I just got back from a month volunteering at an international community working on reforestation and water conservation. I'm going through reverse culture shock and Kompa's where it's at for the moment.
My latest DIY project:
drying and canning my glut of tomatoes, I picked 30 lbs today after my month away from the garden! I hope to start working on some permaculture designs soon as my next project when the veggies slow down.

Hi Courtney,
Wow, sounds like you've been busy. Have the veggies slowed down a bit? Please feel free to share some of your permaculture designs here - sounds inspiring! Let me know if you have any questions about the site.
