My first garden in 12 years!
After leaving the gorgeous green of Missouri 10 years ago for the grey sea of concrete that is Long Beach and Los Angeles, I finally have a spot in a community garden. I combined plots with a friend who spent a couple of her formative years in the Midwest and missed the green enough to sit on a community garden waiting list with me for more than 3 years.
