What kind of HOMEGROWN are you?
Dirt Under My Fingernails City Slicker
Fill in the blank:
Love playing in dirt
A bit about me:
I am trying to kindle the Lewiston / Auburn (Maine) area Transition Town/Permaculture Group. I've been gardening for 4 years now, still making many, many mistakes. I've grown to love gardening, though I feel I have much to learn.
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
Beef, carrots from CSA, potatoes from CSA (CSA = community supported agriculture)
Currently reading:
Sophia's Web
Currently listening to:
PBS
My latest DIY project:
Enlarging the garden. Taking down trees. Will soon be building a 2 fences...one for dog run and the other for chickens. I plan on preparing the chicken fence in such a way that they can get to the Japenese Beetles larvea and hopefully reduce the amount of beetles I have to pluck off by hand.
