I am currently working as a Production Manager in feature Animation but over the past year or so I have begun to lay the groundwork for a new career.
I just got certified as a Permaculture designer and plan on continuing my education by getting more hands on experience so I feel equipped to go out in the world to begin teaching and/or designing. I'm applying for the Master Gardener program in LA (wish me luck!) and then plan on getting my Masters in holistic nutrition. And cooking for family & friends is one of my favorite things to do - especially Sunday suppers.
Anything having to do with food & community makes me happy and I plan on making that my life's work.
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
Roasted butternut squash with sauteed heirloom spinach and onions over quinoa. Simple but delicious.
Currently reading:
One Straw Revolution by Masanobu Fukuoka, Dirt: The Ecstatic Skin of the Earth by William Bryant Logan & Growing Roots: The New Generation of Sustainable Farmers, Cooks, and Food Activists by Katherine Leiner

My latest DIY project:
Not sure this counts as DIY but I just got a small plot at a community garden in Hollywood. Yeah!!!
Welcome Briana! Working on urban lot around the house here in Colorado Springs Co. these days. Planning to have some land of my own eventually. I haven't gone for my certification as of yet, because the front range of the Rocky Mountains is such a strange place to deal with.
