I reside in Portland, Oregon along with my significant other, our dog, two cats, and three chickens. This will be my second year with a vegetable garden and I'm hoping my attempts at growing lettuce will be more successful than last year's (by far the hardest veggie for me to grow, don't ask my why). We also participate in a veggie and beef csa and plan on joining a salmon csa this summer.
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
Halibut we caught ourselves on a trip to Alaska last summer. We "breaded" it in whole wheat flour, wheat germ, white pepper, garlic and onion powder, and salt, and fried it in olive oil. Served with yukon gold baked french fries and asparagus sauteed in toasted sesame oil. Delicious.
