I used untreated white pine. We are starting year 3 with the same wood, so far it is holding up well for the price! We have not treated it with anything.

I've been wanting to build a raised bed this spring but am debating what type of wood to use. I found that pressure treated wood can leach chemicals into the soil over time and same with other woods. Cedar i found is the gardener's choice but is so expensive and i dont think it lasts very long. What kind of wood did you use?
