Gregory where is your picture? Did you plant Black beauty's? On the seed package it will tell you when the plant matures and when to pick it. Was it a live plant? It all depends on what egg plant you have, add a picture with your next reply. This is my last squash plant not ready yet. Ellen from Georgia
