A WORD OF INTRODUCTION: Most of us spend a fair amount of time tending our online gardens, but it’s easy to forget there’s a real-life person behind every quiche recipe, chicken inquiry, and hoophouse design here on HOMEGROWN. Well, nuts to that! Let’s meet over the back fence once in a while and shake hands. (Or maybe hug? We’re huggers. But no pressure.)
First up in our series of HOMEGROWN hellos is Jenna, an inspiring gal who comes to us from Frenchville, Maine. Here’s a bit about Jenna, in her own words: “I live in very northern Maine (right up against Canada). During my childhood, my parents attempted to live off the land for a while, but without success. Now, in my late twenties, I am trying to reclaim their original goals and get back to the basics: local food, home cooking, and simple living.”
Jenna likes the Portland-based band The Ghost of Paul Revere and peanut-butter cookies. Want to compare cookie recipes? Post a note below or send Jenna a holler. There’s nothing more neighborly than sharing a plate of cookies.
