Baby blanket reverse

I finished a 9 by 9 square granny square blanket for my nephew JJ. The edge is scalloped with white yarn.

I repeated the pattern in blocks of 3 by 3, and made them by block. So I was working simultaneously on 9 squares at a time. It helped keep my eyes on the target, as seeing progress happened faster.

I've got another blanket going, it's intended for our living room, for cuddling on the couch.
