Share 'Pruning or pinching off tomato blossoms'

photo by ViggiesVeggies   Do you? Should I? My mom tells me that I need to pinch off some of the lovely blossoms from my tomato plants. I'm growing Cherokee Purples, Brandywine and Green Zebras. But...It seems so sad to do that! I worked so hard to have them grow blossoms! What say you, wise growers?
