Share 'PVC pipe in self-watering container?'
Does anyone know about the safety of PVC pipe being used in a self-watering container? The book that I have, The Urban Homestead, uses PVC pipe in its instructions, but it has been my understanding that PVC is not a safe plastic. Am I wrong that the chemicals would leech into my water and therefore my tomatoes?
