Celebrate the culture of agriculture & share skills (Growing! Cooking! Eating!)

As promised.  The final post is short and sweet be low is a link to a site that has two recipes.  I used to bake with the "easy" recipe but much prefer the cream cheese one to the easy one.  Has ony done this, started one recently?

Gluhwein is a German staple.  Sold on the streets during the colder parts of the year.  It is basically hot mulled wine with fruit!

Start with any cheap semi-dry wine.  Pour the entire bottle into your crock pot.

2 sticks cinnamon, a few whole cloves, slice or two of an orange with the rind.  To this mixture add some of the chopped feremented fruit and any juice you have left over.  This will sweeten the mix.  heat on low until very warm and serve in mugs!!

You'll be glad you did!
