I am having trouble tweeking my lotion recipe  With some, the water separates out, with others they are too solid.  Any tips?

I use 50% water to 50% oil you need surprisingly little wax. I use to always use way to much bees wax and it would look great and by the next day it would ooz liquid! Also try to make sure the oil and water are the same temperature before you blend them together.
