Hey there, we planted more flowers and a climbing Hydrangea and bought a peach tree and two blueberry bushes.  Oh and a few herbs. Going to plant those soon. Thanks for all the info.

Not really just things I've been wanting and had the hydrangea since the fall along with the azaleas which did get put in the ground as well.  Mixed cow manuer and potting soil and peat moss in my veggie garden and used it for planting.  Will work the garden soon.

I am also a member of the food preservation group, hoping that i might be able to learn about doing some pickling, preserves, jams, etc.  does anyone here know where i am able to get those old mason jars.  my mom used to have a number of them, and i know that is what i can use for these food ideas.  any tips would be great since i am literally an idiot about this stuff.  thanks.

I always look at garage sales but grocery store, walmart and other stores still have them.  Estate sales can be a great resource as well.

Got over 2" of rain this weekend down here in Austin!  We've got over 15" of rain so far this year, and man did we need it!  Everybody else get some rain too?

We got 3 1/2 this week and our lake is coming back up.  Everything is starting to look green and healthy.
