My favorite Farmer's Market is Hollywood which my get shut down after being in LA for 19 years.  The LA Film School is saying that they are blocking entrance to their parking lot even though they are closed on Sundays.  Not only does this market bring jobs & create a beautiful community, it helps subsidize 2 other markets in lower income neighborhoods in South LA that lose money.  If Hollywood Market goes, so will these other markets.  It's an amazing place we can't lose.  Please go to this website to help save the farmer's market - there is another meeting tomorrow.  Please spread the word!!!Help Save the Hollywood Farmer's Market

Pineville, WV--The market in Wyoming County, WV is a unique one. This part of the state is not one really known for its thriving agriculture, but so many people have backyard gardens. There's really something cookin in this county, the buzz for locavorism is quiet, but getting louder. It's an exciting place to be.

I have two favorite fm's. One is the down town Colorado Springs, and the other is in Old Colorado City. Both are full of good stuff and great people.

I'd have to give my favorite farmers market award to ...the one in my hometown of Rochester, MA..Though only in business a few years, it continues to grow!! Also, the one in Copley Plaza Boston is truly wonderful as well!

Jonah, of course being in the South (SC) you know I have to say my local county farmers market in Aiken, SC. The people is what makes it so special. Meeting with the farmer of the food, shareing recipies and family events - like my second grandson in September, you would have thought the folks at the market acquired a new family member?! Really, I love the market and the people who make it so special. Come on down and enjoy the South at it's best in horse country SC! And stop on by the Pub and jump in. You are always welcome.
