Celebrate “culture” in agriculture & share skills like growing, cooking, canning

I first asked this question on the wall. And I limited it to boys. I stand corrected. I guess I'm just so outnumbered with boys in my house, and my daughter spends most of her time in the kitchen, that I forget to be more inclusive with my queries. So, I post the question in a new way. And, hopefully in the right place to get some discussion going.

Why do children need a treehouse?

I'm working on a writing project that I'd like to incorporate some answers to this question into. If you'd like to be included, please ask your children, husband, other families members, or just give me your own opinion. Sign with first name, location, and age.

Thanks for your input.

Growing up in the country in NH, I didn't have a tree house, but I had a tree. MY tree. It was where I - and no one else - could go to have some space. A place to daydream, pretend I was someone or something big. The peacefulness of the wind rustling the leaves and the ability to call a place my own was a delicious dream for a little kid.
