Celebrate “culture” in agriculture & share skills like growing, cooking, canning

I've heard about making cheese by straining yogurt, but I'm not sure where to start besides a Google search.  Anyone have any tips for making yogurt cheese?  I think I first read about it in Anna Thomas' The New Vegetarian Epicure but sadly, I've since returned that one to the library.

When I do it, I get a really big cup, a coffee filter, a rubber band, and some plastic wrap. I set the coffee filter in the top of the cup and secure with the rubber band. Then I fill it up with yogurt, wrap some plastic wrap over the top, and stick it in the fridge for a day or two. I'm sure there are other ways to do it, but this works for me. Happy cheese making!
I did it! I made yogurt cheese. And fortunately, it was super duper easy. Highly recommend it. I seasoned mine with some salt and pepper, scallions, garlic and basil and spread it on crackers. Delish.
